There are four stages of control when kicking in Beat the Wall. In the first stage, you must use the arrow keys to aim your kick. After you have set your target, pres the spacebar to move on to the next stage. In the second stage, you will set your run-up distance. Use the up arrow key to move closer to the ball and the down arrow key to move farther away from the ball. The farther your player is from the ball, the more powerful your kick will be. Press the spacebar to confirm your distance. The final two stages set the curvature (or "bend") of your kick and the lift of your kick. Press the spacebar to stop the crosshair on the ball, the arrow indicates the direction in which the ball will travel.
In order to score in this soccer game, you will have to carefully plan your shots. You have unlimited time to do so, so there is no need to rush. Wait for the defenders to form their wall so that you can better plan your kick. It is best to curve the ball around or over players by properly setting the curvature and lift of your kicks. Try to aim for an area of the goal that the goalkeeper will have a difficult time reaching. It is inadvisable to try to power your shot through the defenders as they will probably deflect it away from the goal, costing you an attempt.
